It’s been scientifically proven to be good for stress relief! Hugs have many benefits and most people in general love them, myself included. a hug from a loved one makes me feel safe and kind of stops time for a while. There are some people who really don’t like physical touch/intimacy though so just be aware of that

It works as both. You feel vulnerable and a good hug makes you feel safe. And after a long stressful day, hugging someone you love instantly makes you feel more at ease

No. Very incredibly uncomfortable being hugged by guys or women. I hate being touched.
