Why do people notice everything I do, even colouring my hair?

I coloured my hair a new colour. It suits me but the next couple of days people I barely even talk to complimented me and people I were suprised even noticed.

Does it look that good? Or people are just using an excuse to talk to me?

My crush noticed it as well and said - "by the way did you colour your hair, see I notice things!"

I am not sure if that even means much now considering a lot of people even people I do not speak too much noticed.
