Yes, I am very good at that. So far every person I ever had that level of attraction / intimacy with that I managed to meet IRL it was exactly the same IRL.

The trick to that is to escalate safely, you start with just texting. If you trust them enough that becomes a voice call, now you at least have some idea if that person is who they say they are. And then if you feel very comfortable with that it becomes a video call. Once your at the video calling stage and you have done so for a long time it becomes very similar to how it would be in real life.

Depends on the context. What platform am I meeting them on? Do they post actual pictures of themselves so I can be genuinely physically attracted? Is it only their opinions I see? Do we talk in depth on many topics for me to become attracted to their way of thinking? Is there a bond being developed between us when we communicate? If the answer to all of those questions is yes, then yes you can tell if you're attracted to someone you met online.

Yeah, you can tell if you’re attracted to someone online same as how you can tell irl. Only real difference is, you don’t know if they’re actually like how they present themselves until you meet irl a few times

You think you can tell, but it's mostly fantasy since you can't have realistic deep feelings for someone that you have never even met.

You can't really know someone until you've met them in person and spent time with them. So when people think they love someone they have never met, it's the fantasy they love not the reality. Their longing for love has overcome their better judgment.

I think you can tell if you are attracted to their personality, if you meet online and then talk on the phone. However I don't think you can know if you are really attracted to them until you meet face to face. I remember back when the internet was still very new such as in the late 1990's, you always heard of people saying that they "met their soulmate" online when they never even met face to face.

Nope! People online can be so fake. That is why so many people get scammed. You may get attracted to a persona, but the person can be a player, or a serial killer for all you know. The Craig's List Killer comes to mind.

I find it hard for me. I'd have to actually also spend time with them in RL for a long time in order to truly figure that out. You can have a bond without meeting them, but RL is the real deal on whether you'd want to be with them or not.

The attraction always happens after everything is verified with the other person. First the chats, then the calls and when you meet face to face you usually know right away.

Attraction can happen with anyone or anything especially if they are beautiful.

Attraction is a sense of liking nothing much more than it unless you want it to be.

In general I can be attracted to a tree or beautiful spot and would get peace and calm or sense of excitement and relaxation or simply just a soothing feeling.
