Moved into a New Building and Now I Have a Crush – Help lol?

So, I’m usually never like this! I’m 20F, and my life is all about studying, working, traveling, golfing, and just minding my own business. I’m also super picky with men, so crushing on someone out of the blue is totally out of character for me. But here I am, totally smitten and embarrassed to even admit it.

I just moved into a new building, and a male friend was helping me get settled in. When we got to my floor, we ran into this guy waiting for the elevator, and—y’all—one glance, and my whole body just… reacted. Black hair, those beautiful shoulders, the works. 😅

Then, the very next day, I ran into him outside the building, and we locked eyes for a good 15 seconds. I’m 99% sure he lives on my floor, which, let’s be real, could either be a blessing or a curse. Now, I have no idea how to move forward. I’d love to talk to him (if he’s single, of course), and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t hoping for a little more than just chit-chat… 👀

Any advice on how to play this cool? Or how to figure out if he’s taken?

Since you have a crush on that boy, your best option is to try to find out as much about him as you can. What are his hobbies, his likes and dislikes and if you can get hold on a detail about him like a passion he has, then learn as much about it as you can and next time you see him, casually direct the conversation on that topic.

Realizing that you show an interest on something that he likes is a great way to start a conversation and a friendship.

However, be careful that you make sure that he is not in a relationship before you try to grab him. This is an absolute no go.
