How to get a rlly cute/smart guy to like you?

Hello! There is this guy i see maybe 2-3 times a week for an extracurricular. He is awesome- super smart, nice, really attractive, overall just a rlly great person. He kinda out of my league bc im not all that but i think im pretty funny and nice, I don't know about good looking but at the end the personality matters more.

We talked a bit (he talked to me first but it wasn't anything crazy, it was just bc we were both trying out for this club and he asked me how it was going), and we texted but nothing crazy.

I don't know how to go about this because I freeze up around him and im suddenly boring, not funny, and awkward. I also am having a hard time with figuring out his personality because it seems like he is kind of serious most of the time, where I am always laughing or not being locked in.
