Wow, These results prove that Women are more selfish in dating, as not a single vote supported the idea that Women should Chase and Impress Men, while many believe Men should do all the work or, at best, share the effort equally.

I think that’s kinda the test, if they’re not showing you enough attraction, why start a relationship? I think a healthy beginning to a relationship has both people showing interest, the amount and how comes down to the individuals, but usually enough to get each other blushing and with no room for question that either likes each other. Short answer; it’s always going to be different, because people are different, some are extra flirty, some barely do more than give you a smile, gotta go for the one at your level.

There is no should here. Relationships, dating and flirting are all voluntary.

However most men won't be successful at dating by just leaning back and relaxing.

Men should generally be the initiators/pursuers, although I don't like the phrasing "chase and impress". That being said, in response to your update: Of course women voted for men to pursue them. That's nature. You can talk about selfishness all you want, but evolution and/or God wanted them to want this.

I think that given the way dynamics tend to unfold, with women by and large submitting to men over time, with women needing to bear children, deal with menstruation, typically being sexually submissive, etc -- we, as men, can put in a little bit of extra upfront flirting to show our interest.

But hey, then again, if you don't like that, by all means just ignore these terrible, selfish women. That's just more for the rest of us who realize that our forefathers had to freaking sail to foreign lands and raid and pillage and come back a conquerer to get a mate, and view the modern situation as quite pleasant.

I love when I man chases me but always has dignity about it my husband wanted 3 months before meeting me because that's what I wanted but he Def was good at flirting over text and on out phone calls but it was never pushy or desperate
