Would a bartender ask if you are single/what types of girls you like just for extra tips? Or would that be more serious flirting?

Complete lack of back story there, is this a random pub with bar staff you don’t know on a night out, a local you go to and know the bar staff etc.

On the whole, bar staff get chatted up circa 4 million times a night by people who think they are the hottest things on legs. The majority don’t really want any interaction with customers, that is not saying it does not happen as everyone is human and will flirt and will be open for more.

As for your example, it’s about being realistic, 35 yr old and say she’s a 20 yr old barmaid, far higher chance it’s for tips, if she’s say 30, it be more tits than tips.

I been there like 2 times before while back first time I met her I’m actually 30 she was 25 she asked me how old I was and when I said 30 she got happy/excited seemed she liked guys little older than her. Even said I had a cute smile later lol.
