What’s your favorite way to get someone to stop flirting besides making up a imaginary girlfriend/boyfriend?

Assuming that they haven’t done anything too overt and you don’t want to make things too awkward. My personal favorite is “you remind me a lot of my sister, mom, or other close family member” they tend to stop really fast if they are flirting.

Well I not only have a real relationship, I wear a ring. I have a lot of different ways to mention my relationship in the first 30 seconds of a conversation if I think it will make things easier for everybody.

But in the past when that was not the case, one time I claimed I saw my friend I was going to go talk to her, and I went and talked with some random girl I was pretending was my friend, which the funny part is, we did become friends because of that. One time when I was in an activity w someone so I saw him often, he asked me out and I said I couldn’t do it the night he asked about because I had to sort my socks, he asked another time and I said I couldn’t do it then either because I had to wash my cat. That does not even make sense it is just the first thing I was able to come up with.

It’s better to pretend to be homo probably (probably only if they’re 100% hetero) cause then they feel they can’t really compete and some percentage will just be grossed out or as they say homophobic. If you say married to someone as the same sex as the person flirting with you- and if they’re nasty “enough,” they will try and compete and convince you otherwise. I’m sure 1% would try to convince you otherwise even if you had claimed to be homo.

If all else fails, just be brutally honest and if that fails involve the authorities lol

Tell them that they aren’t my type. Some guy are still flirts to me even when i already told them that i have boyfriend, they don’t stop flirt and even offer to have 2 boyfriends. With this situation usually i make it clear like why i love my boyfriend.
