No. I don't think I flirt with every guy till I get a sense of who they are. After a while there's a bit more smiling or chatting or whatever. It helps minimize that sense of regret.

Omg yes. I'm always flirty joking with people and most people get that it's a joke. One time some guy at work had made himself a belt with some pallet wrap and I asked why. He explained his belt had broken and his trousers kept falling down so he needed something to hold them up. My response was "just so you know I wasn't looking down there I just noticed ".

He then winked at me and said "ill keep a eye out for you".

Ever since then he started winking at me and being really flirty. It was super creepy

Well only waiting tends to limit options. Especially because a lot of women particularly (sorry to pick on the girls) who feel too nervous or awkward.

What a lot of times happens is that you’ll get approached by the men you don’t really want. Maybe creeps, losers, etc. On one extreme and the other extreme players, fuck boys, etc.

Meanwhile many men who have lots of options have a lot of women interested in them. They don’t really have to just go approach someone much less a stranger when there is genuine mutual attraction in their circle or women throw themselves at them. So they don’t really have a need to go out and talk to random people unless of course they just for some reason really like someone

Another common issue is that you can become stuck on someone waiting around frankly wasting your time. Because in some cases they may make that move. But other times someone may eventually just move on. Attraction comes and goes ifs a really sad day when you see someone’s attraction gradually fade away all the green flags are slowly disappearing until eventually you see that someone with someone new.

On the opposite as much as rejection sucks. It’s better then sitting around waiting on someone who point blank is never going to approach.

Those two situations go for men as well as women. Nobody’s entitled to have someone come up and talk to you. And a lot of times those who do aren’t the ones you want anyways

Another thing about giving the wrong impression. If that’s not what you’re looking for and that’s what someone wanting just shut it down immediately and move on from that person.

I understand how you feel though. Look, at the end of the day you could be rejected. Most people will be respectful about it in that case you have closure and can move on. You won’t be wasting your time on somebody whose never going to approach you anyways. You also won’t forever wonder what could have been.
