He said with a smile: You can get anything you want

I looked particularly nice that day.

I blushed a bit and said my order.

I highly doubt he was interested in me, so what was the point?

From what I've gathered this past year some guys flirt like it's a sort of physical tick... like thrumming your fingers on the table when you're impatient. It's just something to do bc you're there and he's there. Once you're out of sight he will forget you.
