So I recently had lunch at an on-campus Indian restaurant at college. The cashier, who apparently recognizes me from one of her previous workplaces, actually greeted me as I paid for the meal, which isn't usual in Sweden. I mean, today when I had lunch at a different place I was just greeted with a "Hi", but the unusual part is that the girl in this story also asked me how I was.
She also said goodbye to me as I left after I had put my meal on the tray rack. What happened next is the borderline flirty part. She said "Goodbye" to me, which you might expect, but her body language and the way she looked at me... Oh, boy! That went straight to my heart.
The important detail is that she remembers me, but I can't place her. That's why I don't know how to respond. She doesn't look like the married woman from the café whom I had a crush on by this time a couple of years back, but I don't know who she is or where I possibly could've seen her before.

In this scenario, unfortunately it does not sound like flirtation and just general customer service politeness. However, I wouldn’t say to let that detour you from shooting your shot entirely. Maybe we can’t confirm how she feels, but you know how you feel, so after on that rather than waiting for signs.
As for raining on your parade I really hate to do it however it seems like you are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill on this one. What you call flirting she calls good customer service & a lot of cashiers say hi, goodbye & ask how you are doing.
Did you introduce yourself?
Doesn't seem like flirting. You could have continued the conversation
Desperation would be an understatement. I will throw immature in there as well.
How do you know she recognizes you from one of her workplaces or at all? Either way non of this sounds like flirting what so ever.
She literally said "I work here now" the first time I went there, just the other week. This implies that she recognizes me from somewhere.
Right and it’ completely normal behavior to make small talk to someone you know a little and ask how they are and say goodbye when they leave. Nothing flirty.
you're desperate.
