How come no one approaches me at the gym?

Question

Only two have approached me, not including my trainer. Why is that? Not trying to sound out of the line but I am 100% positive that they all stare, and not just a glance, but multiple stares.

Girl, I go to the gym too, and I don't think it's anything against you. I don't think it's saying you're unapproachable or unattractive either. I believe that it's just a place that people go to work out at, and POSSIBLY spark up a convo or 2, but nothing personal. When I go to the gym, I wanna get in there, work out, and take off. People have this sort of 'bubble' around themselves at the gym...their personal space. They're sweating, not looking their best, their main priority at the gym, is simply to work out. If they're staring, then throw a smile back at 'em. If you feel it's in a judgmental way, just remind yourself why you're there. If you're there to be hit on, and check out guys, then go flirt with them. Smile at them, and make it a bit obvious. Guys sometimes need that:) But don't worry about it too much...get healthy, and have fun doing it. A guy is bound to notice you sooner or later, and approach you:) Hope this helped:)

Listen, if you know the one you want then make them make a move,  bump into one of them, tease them, drop your towel in front of them so you can bend over and pick it up, or see if they will pick it up for you. If you are a good looking girl then you may be intimidating to them so you have to make them make a move.  and yes people do meet people at the gym. same way people meet at the store or at work or a bar.  The gym is no different. You will figure it out.

I think like you: it's one of the best places to meet women... AFTER her workout. Plenty of the guys' responses are interesting though. Some men are there for their own workouts, some don't feel it's an appropriate place to approach, etc.

I bet you are getting stared at but I feel that many don't think it's a good place to meet a woman.

Do girls actually want to be approached at the gym? I wouldn't have thought so at least. I mean, I've seen girls at the gym who I've been really attracted to but I wouldn't make a move there, first off i wouldn't know what to say in that place and time, and second, i usually figure they're not there to be hit on by guys...

No one wants to approach the hot girl at the gym and risk being rejected with the whole place watching. Besides don't expect prince charming at the gym, I guarantee all they want is sex, if that's what you want then more power to you.

I'm in the gym to workout, not to socialise. You don't go to the gym to talk just like you don't go to the grocery store to do your laundry.

I would never approach a girl at the gym.  I go there to get my business done and that's it, and most people I know who go to gyms are the same way.  It's not a meat market.

A lot of people wouldn't want to interrupt a woman at the gym unless she indicated she'd like to be approached. So try smiling, meeting gazes, winking, greeting people and being friendly! xD

Well I go to the gym almost everyday and yes I do stare a lot at attractive girls in the gym. ( Most of them are) Doesnt mean I'm going to do anything about it. I've never talked to a girl in the gym and I've been going for almost 3 years...
