You can't make someone want you, short of a spell. If you were over 18, I would have suggested a good comeback to the name. Like, "How did you know I nicknamed my p**** Mary?" or "You got my name all wrong hun. Give me one night and you will be screaming out the right one."

So play his tune on him. Give him a puzzled look and reply "I think you look more like a ...____. From now on I'll call you ____."

Figure out what your good traits are and accentuate them. Each person likes different things. For me, communication is key. If she can hold a conversation and she shows that she is smart, then she's got my attention. I'm a confident person so I respond well to confident and independent women.

So he's trying to help his friend. Perhaps he's just being a good wingman since his friend saw you first. You could let his friend know that you like the original guy. That doesn't break any guy code.
