Dating a guy with crutches.

I met this guy Mike, at my boarding school and we have so much in common. We were always in each others rooms and saw movies on his laptop, played games, etc. Now its a year ago since I saw him, though we never stopped talking. Every weekend since he stopped at my school(i'm a 2nd year student now) we talk over Skype while we play the same games. Now I'm invited to his 20th birthday party, and I'm very excited to see him again. And lately he calls me all these sweet things, yesterday he told me that if anyone was sweet and beautiful it would be me. It should be said that he confessed to me in school last year, but I said no because I wasn't ready for a boyfriend. Plus I was worried how we would be intimate with each other with him being permanently in crutches and all. What If I would have to be the one doing it all, though I have zero experience, and he having dated a lot of women before. :( BUT, now I'm totally ready to have a boyfriend(with a LITTLE bit more self confidence than before regarding sex), I think I might need one more than ever right now! and I have been thinking of him a lot lately, and so I have many questions as to what all this means. Do I like him for real or am I just desperate for a boyfriend? And is there even a little chance that he likes me?

No, I don't see this as desperation...you probably have feelings for him, and it sounds like a sweet story that you should explore. You shouldn't be worried about inexperience, because, let me tell you something. Me and my somewhat ex-girlfriend (with whom we are working things out to be together again) were high school sweethearts, and we were sexually inexperienced before each other. Believe me, when sweet feelings and pure attraction are there, just lettting yourself in your partner's arms will do the trick on it's own. Anxiety is bad; I wasn't anxious and neither was my girlfriend the first time, because we both felt nice and warm with each other, and it just came as a natural impulse! As for the crutches, come on, don't be so harsh! You might have to put in a little more effort than him sometimes, that's all - there are positions that can be comfortable for the both of you, even with the boy suffering from motion problems! - and there's always oral sex which he can perform on you ;)

As for liking you, I can't tell you for sure, but it seems like it. So if you decide to be by his side, give him a nice birthday present that he won't forget - you!

Thank you so much! And I didn't mean to be harsh, its just that I have never been in a relationship with real feelings before. I was worried before, but now that you say it like that, it sounds silly of me to think like that. :)

Haha don't worry. I understand your objections, you obviously didn't mean bad; maybe 'harsh' was a bad choice of a word! The only way to know if the feelings are real is to 'test drive' the relationships. But it all seems like a sweet story woven around you two. Give it a try! Sure, sometimes relationships include pain, but in the end, the nice moments are worth the risk. And I can't stress enough how you shouldn't be worried about sex!
