If a girl singles me out and teases me constantly?

What can I assume? She always has this mean/playfully mean/sarcastic/smartass attitude towards me and she tells me that she is like that because I'm very annoying and "drive her crazy". I don't mean to do it, its just the way I am. Even when I'm talking to other people she will try and butt in my conversations and find a way to call me a name or make fun of me.

So there I am, trying to figure how to act around her. She is always disagreeing with everything I do and bickering with me and the thing is that she never acts like this with anybody else, its like if she is programmed to just "fight" with me, even when I'm being nice, holding doors open for her and helping her, she finds a way to refer to what I'm doing as "annoying" and if I stop talking to her, she gets mad and tells me she doesn't want to deal with me when I get like this, what does she want? does she want to be left alone or not?

I'd say that she likes you. For whatever weird reason, some girls will do that with guys and think that they're going to get a positive reaction out of it. I really don't understand why girls do it, because if a girl treated me this way I was just assume "wow. she goes out of her way to be nasty to me and she must really, really dislike me.' My first thought would never be "wow...she is so into me!" It's incredibly confusing and so indirect as opposed to something as simple as being like "I like you." Always remember, girls are almost never direct when it comes to conveying interest. It's always little signs and signals that you have to watch for.

she definitely likes you! I'm like that too sometimes just on a lower less hyped level. especially when I like a guy. I want to be a smart ass and talk about him sarcastically, but I mean no harm. I'm assuming that she's a strong woman and she's expecting you to be strong too. If you like her, ask her out. If not, tell her what your feelings are. Men are allowed to have hurt feelings too :D
