Why does the guy not want to hang out with me anymore?

So I met this guy at a club. He asked me to dance and afterward we exchanged numbers and he asked me to go out on a date with him. I said sure, but let's just keep it to hanging out for now. The next day he texted me and we met up for dinner. I thought we got along pretty well. conversation was easy. the next day I texted him saying I had a nice time at dinner. we texted a bit and then he said we should hang out after he gets back from his vacation in florida (he was leaving that night), and I said sure, let me know when (I texted him this the next morning because I fell asleep). However, he never texts me back after he gets back from florida and I had to be the one who texted him first. he replied really quickly to my texts though. however, when he asked what am I doing this long weekend and I totally hinted that we should hang out, he completely changed the topic! why does he not make any concrete plans to hang out again when he said we should a week ago?

move on, he's not worth your time. he should make more of an effort. you texting him back when he got back was enough effort on your part. obviously unless you ask him to his face you'll never know why the sudden change of heart. so either do that or don't text him again.

Well I am not him and I don't know him personally, but I would say he definitely had the wrong first impression. And I I'm not wanting you to be offended ma'am, but he thought you were his type at the club. And when yall eventually met face to face he realized he had read you wrong, or he may have a girlfriend which could explain the sudden trip to Florida after just meeting you and going out. It is hard to tell, if I knew him I could tell you what's going on. But sorry I can't help you anymore

sadly guys do that, or maybe he was just really busy, that happens in life, unless you know his schedule, which after a week you shouldnt, things do come up in peoples lives
