Is my roommate rightfully angry with me or is she overreacting?

Anonymous
Last night, I started a huge load of laundry, and went to bed with a load of clothes in the washer.

This morning I wake up to my roommate SCREAMING at the top of her lungs to my other roommate about how she is going to kick my ass because my laundry detergent ruined a garment she had hanging up in the laundry room and didn't even tell her. She said called me an idiot and was furious because she couldn't wear it like she wanted to today. I didn't get up, but listened to her tirade about how I intentionally messed up her clothes. I was confused, because I didn't touch her hanging clothes at all.

When she came home, she said nothing and didn't contact me to go shopping, obviously because she was mad, so I didn't ask. She was angry and verbally pointed out that my laundry detergent ruined her bra and she wanted to wear it this morning and instead had to rinse her bra out in the sink. I said I didn't ruin it, and she said I did because my detergent is blue and that was the color detergent that was on her bra and my detergent spilt all over it and she's sick of it, I said I'm sorry It wasn't intentional. She asked what I was putting next in the washer and I said colored clothes, would you like me to put your stuff in with mine and she said she couldn't because the laundry detergent is still in the bra and would stain it so she has to wash it all over again. When I looked at it, it was completely white and was just wet.

She said she's just fed up because she really wanted to wear it that day and she shouldn't have left it in there but that she was tired of always cleaning up my messes and just done. I didn't know what else to say but "I'm sorry" and didn't feel like arguing because I felt like I was in the wrong for ruining her garment, but was a little mad she called me an idiot and made a big deal. I dropped it, and initially took my clothes out of the dryer to offer to dry her bra first, but she said no and that she had to rewash it. So I left for school saying nothing in fears of pissing her off again over what I thought was something small.

She also said it was her fault for even leaving her stuff in the laundry room, but that she was just extremely frustrated.
