Should I respond to a text from a girl who rejected me?

Hey guys I'm in a huge crisis with a girl and I could use some sound advice. I started going out with a girl I met and after about two months she stands me up on a date. She then tested me that she wasn't looking for anything serious. I was heartbroken to say the least. She goes to the same college as me and it's just too painful to talk to her. So we crossed paths on Monday and I ignored her when she looked at me. The right after she texts me "hey?" I plainly didn't respond because I just didn't know what I would say to her. But now that it's been a week I'm wondering if I should say something to her. Any advice would be great. I still like her.

she told you that she wasn't looking for anything serious, and played games, which really means she ditched you and just used you for attention.

i say you move on and keep ignoring her. you did the right thing by not responding. I can related because I was rejected by a guy who played games with me too, and the WORSE thing you can to yourself when it comes to being involved with a player, is to give them attention of any sort. because that is what they want- attention, they wanna be chased and loved cause theyre insecure deep down, they don't know what love is theyre just looking for some fun. don't give her any attention. it will probably drive her crazy anyways and then you can point and laugh at her -karma!

i wouldn't. I'm sorry :( Girls like guys shouldn't play with feelings its not right at all. I would just let her go and find someone better who would WANT to be in a serious relationship because that other girl isn't the kid that you should be dating.

I really want to ask her why she would lead me on. I would walk her to her car after work too, so I was really confused when she texted me that.

Well she sent me that text around 2 weeks ago. I don't know why she would be confused about me not talking to her. I don't want to stick around to find out later that I was her back up guy.

Ignore her and move on. Why should you waste your time for a girl who isn't serious about you when you're wanting a serious relationship? Save that energy for a girl who does want to be in a serious relationship with you.

I agree with Star, she may be ready now and wasn't ready now. Your lines of communication may have been crossed before and maybe better lines of communication would help your relationship blossom with her.
