What's his deal? Sexting, but not making plans to meet up, he says it's complicated

I met this guy a couple of months ago in a club, we made out, flirted, ... He didn't give his number nor asked mine, he just said his name and that he had twitter. So two days later I followed him on twitter, he followed me and we started chatting there, quite sexually, but I didn't mind at all. He asked my number and texts me on what's app now. Not sexual all the time anymore, just random stuff as well. I told him he could text me (like normal, not just what's app) he said he thought what's app was easier. He keeps on sexting, which I really don't mind, but we never talk about meeting up or actually doing something, then he told me everything was complicated and blah blah blah... I know you guys can only guess and I can only know for sure by asking him, but I don't feel like being the serious girl who wants to do all the effort -_-

Now he asked me to hang out when he's off work and he's texting me normal (as in: not on what's app...well, still on what's app but just a regular text two days ago, lol)

Honestly, he seems shady if you ask me (as in he might already be taken or involved). Otherwise, why not text you? It is easier.

That's what I was thinking. I'm not saying all guys are cheating douche bags, but this is definitely shady behavior in my mind. Maybe bring up how you're sick of what's app or something and suggest again that you'd much rather text. If he ignores it or refuses to give you his number, set your sights on someone else.

I have his number, that's how we text on what's app. I told him this weekend that I wouldn't mind him just texting to my phone as a regular text, not on what's app. He told me he thought what's app was easier. Maybe I should stay offline there for a while and see if he texts me regularly.
