Girls: How would you react to a cold approach?

Just wondering how you would react...

I mean, lets say I approached you randomly and complimented you, etc., etc. and proceeded to talk. How would you react (Surprised, creeped out, etc.)?

I've done it a few times, but all they do is giggle :/ I get the impression that this doesn't happen a lot to girls.

I think you're right, this has very rarely happened to me, and honestly, I don't know what to say when it does! Starting a conversation would probably be better, and may be easier for her to respond to!

If you're cute about it, I'm sure she'll be intrigued.

Just don't come on too strong or you may creep her out :).

If a guy would come up to me and just strike a conversation, I would think it was a joke. I'm very self conscious so doesn't seem rational just to want to talk to me I guess.

I used to be that way, I found out it wasn't a joke when they started crying after I said no >.> I got cursed out one time too, I thought she was going to hit me lol

Depends on your area, but most girls rarely get cold approached in the day in settings where it is unusual to be hit on. You'll get a wide range of reactions. Most will be flattered at the very least if you don't come off as a creeper.

Depends how strong you come out as. Plenty of girls experience this and let's just say most guys ruin it for others. This would also depend on the girls self esteem and ego as well.

Try starting a conversation rather than jumping in with a random compliment. I'd rather a guy who comes up and says hi, rather than one who picks out a physical feature.
