+1 yIt depends on the day, I have a very fucked up appetite that is largely impacted by my emotions (primarily stress levels) and I go from either never being hungry to being always hungry - I rarely have a middle ground or an in between.
Lately I haven't been eating a lot because I have almost no genuine appetite, and the few times I do get "kind of" hungry it's at an inconvenient time where I'm working or when I'm no where near any kind of food, so I've gotten back into the bad habit of compensating with coffee. I mean a prime example is what I ate today: I had an avocado for breakfast, and two veggie dogs wrapped in butter lettuce with mustard and two cookies - and I only ate the cookies because a coworker gave them to me.
It isn't at all intentional, I've been this way for as long as I can remember and I'm constantly trying to correct it by pre-making breakfasts and lunches for myself during the week, but in times of high stress/when I'm overloaded with work and other things (like I am now) I very rarely prioritize such things over the daily obligations I partake in.
When I'm actually dieting properly my caloric intake bounces between 1,200-1,700, sometimes 2,000 depending on what I'm eating and how hard I'm working out. I try to keep a diet of lean protein/supplements (I don't eat a ton of meat), lots of fruit and veg, whole grain/wheat carbs, limited sugars and processed foods, etc. If I had to judge how many calories I've been eating lately I'd guess about 1000 at most. Hmm, I don't know exactly how much in calories, but nowadays I eat rice 2-3 times a day and have meat in almost every single meal, complemented with some kind of vegetable as much as possible. I also have soup maybe every other day, so I consume less solids then, but in terms of meat to vegetable and rice ratio, it typically looks like this:
www.emiponcedesouza.com/.../...ccoli-1501x2001.jpg
Of course the kind of meat and vegetables vary by meal; it could be two kinds of meat in one meal - chicken and fish for example, but their portions combined will look something like that. And then I just have some fruits for dessert if I feel like it, usually more of that in the morning though.
Oh, and these past few days I have been mindlessly snacking on junk food in between meals. =.= Got me some raisins, so I'll at least be snacking on healthy food.
How about you?19 Reply- +1 y
You have such a small waist considering you eat rice multiple times a day 😳
I tend to avoid rice because it contains too many simple carbohydrates.
I take almonds + whey protein in milk + oats + pumpkin seeds + 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg in breakfast
2 chappati (whole wheat bread) with peanut butter and lentils in the lunch
A bunch of grapes + 1 or 2 pomegranate + 1 jar of banana milkshake before gym
4 + 1 egg with whey in milk after gym
Then chappati with vegetables or cottage cheese / chicken breast in the dinner on alternating days + milk.
I use multivitamins and cod liver oil to fulfil the rest demands.
No sugar, no processed food, no junk food, no extra salt.
Cheat meals on Sundays. - +1 y
I'd kill to get that waistline. That's not normal, at least in my dictionary xD
Yeah I'm... trying haha but my calories tracker says that it's only ~2800 calories. I don't know how do I add additional 300 calories cleanly.
I used to eat fast foods every day with 11 tsp of sugar with at least 300 ml soda a day. So, changing my diet to this led me to some drastic changes... and I'm never gonna look back now. - +1 y
I mean, not exactly like yours xD but just something that'd look good.
I started in January 2016 with an average body but I had 37 inches of waist. Height being 5'10"
I stopped fast food & sugar & extra salt and started doing cardio in the mornings and weight training in the evenings. Back then, I didn't even bother to take a glass of water from the kitchen, I had a maid & mom for everything, but I changed my lifestyle.
I lost 3 inches in the first three months. Then my trainer told me that I am looking acceptable and I should stop doing cardio in order to gain muscles. I did what he said for the next three months and gained strength and muscles.

Then I found out that I failed to get a seat in my dream college by just a few marks. I went in depression and stopped working out. I also caught dengue and chikungunya in the coming months.
So, I changed my city. The food was bad, but had to take classes for career there.
Now as my classes are over. I'm back at home. I'm revising my syllabus and joined gym again. I don't know how but I got leaner automatically. Maybe because I stuck to my good diet.
Right now, I'm at 33 inches. My aim is 32. It'll take time as my priority is bulking right now. The food is great at home and my mom makes it so it is obvious that it must the best in the world.
How about your goals? Are you happy? :) - +1 y
Ooh, that seems pretty good, considering everything that's happened. :o Didn't you lose a lot of weight too when you caught the virus?
And it's cool your mom makes food according to your diet. I just gain so much weight whenever I go back home, because my mom keeps stuffing me with food. X)
I'm not sure if you mean life goals or body goals, but I'm pretty happy overall. :D - +1 y
Yeah I lost everything. But it's not the end. We can always begin again :)
My mom doesn't always make food according to my diet, she just make "good food". She secretly adds sugar to my shakes and make desserts because she thinks I'm crazy for eating like old people. But it's convenient to not to go to kitchen every time you are hungry. Just call mom and the food will be on your table haha.
I kept the question ambiguous because I was curious if you have any body goals or not as girls have crazy goals when it comes to body and you're already looking perfect. So, you could also interpret it as life goals, but as you said you are doing well, it's all good.
Good luck 👍
+1 yI don't count calories tbh
Throughout the day I eat-
Two rotis
2-3 boiled egg whites
sabzi
dal
Paneer/Dalia/2 whole egg omelette (any one of that)
1 cup salad
For snack I munch on
Chocolate 🙈/fruit/peanuts/cheese/dryfruits (any of of that)
Cup of milk or yoghurt of same quantity14 Reply- +1 y
But on some days I only have a small bowl of curd rice and a fruit (especially when stressed or something). I feel like puking when I'm stressed tbh

No. It's like... 1K calories? I can eat it.
But still, I struggle to take 3K calories a day.

+1 yI don't pay attention. From what I can gather by reading the comments, not so much comparably. Though that's mostly because I'm just lazy to go prepare it. If something can be grabbed and eaten right away, sure. If I have to peel it and what not then nah...

I was expecting...
Bread in the breakfast
Potato in lunch
And um... bread and potatoes together in the dinner.

No problem :)
I'm suppose to eat 1300 calories... I'm lucky if I can get to 1000 ( unless it's days I eat pizza)... I usually eat between 500-850 a day, and I can never get enough protein because meats make me feel sick. but I eat a lot of fruits and salads, toast and quesadillas and somtimes eggs, pastas, potatoes.. I get full real fast
