Is it ok to eat the white stuff on salami?

I recently found out it's a type of "good" mould... and I ate loads of it like 10 minutes ago. Will I die?

If I die before I get an answer, please tell my mum I love her... but she's not getting my new TV.

It's made to be eaten. But it depends on which kind of stuff you eat. On many industrial stuff like that, the "skin" around the meat is just plastic.

Well, it tasted pretty good, else I would have stopped myself from eating it all. The packaging said it was alright to eat lol. I asked Google what it was and freaked out.
