+1 yYes of course I do. I eat Chinese food all the time and frequently make it though as far as I know the only Chinese blood I have is I'm distantly descended from Genghis Khan. My Dad, who also liked Chinse Food, taught me how to use chopsticks when I was a kid and told me I was not allowed to eat Chinese food with a fork or my fingers. So if I wanted to eat it I had to use chopsticks. it took me a while but I got the hang of it. Though here in Florida I do get funny looks when I pick up and start using a pair at a Chinese restaurant.

Yes I do it's very easy if you have a piece of duct tape take that piece of duct tape and you take those chopsticks put them underneath the fork and then take them to the park now go ahead and put the fork into the food and then put it in your mouth everything tastes better with chopsticks LOL

+1 yYes i do, its super easy, but I've also been doing so since i was a little kid. Its funny because my boyfriend doesn't know how to use them & he gets so frustrated watching me while he's using a fork or spoon.

+1 yI do know how to eat with chopsticks. I taught myself at a Japanese restaurant when I was 4. Now that I am a mom I realize what an accomplishment that was.

+1 yYeah, being going out to China etc for a number of years.
Can use the various types.
Admittedly some food is fucking impossible with them lol.
they do come in handy with king crab legs, as you can push the meat out of the legs,33 Reply- +1 y
@miah02 yeah it works really well, far better than sitting at a table with people looking at you as you suck on a crab leg ….🤦♂️
436 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Nah, I prefer efficiency & comfort when I eat. And since I don't value eating that way, I'll never be as efficient as someone that really really practices and enjoys it. But I do like the look of them more than standard utensils.
14 ReplyEzpz.
Break apart the sticks then hold them in one hand, before quickly stabbing both through whatever you are trying to eat like a modified fork.21 Reply- 1.3K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic.
u +1 yNi ha! I am dating a woman who is Chinese and I am learning how to use chopsticks, among many other things.
34 Reply- +1 y
That's how I will get to understand her better, and I do want to understand her because I think she's a keeper!
- +1 y
She's a good woman and I want to keep her in my life!
+1 yI can use them without difficulty but if someone in Asian saw me using them I probably dont hold them correctly.
11 Reply929 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I'm certainly nowhere near "skilful" but I can get by... Just!
21 ReplyYes, I do. It took me a lot of time to learn how to eat with it but in the end I am pro now.
13 Reply700 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. It took a few weeks to learn, but yep. I love oriental food, not all of the Asian cultures use chopsticks now. Thailand, while it was Siam, began using Western cutlery over a century ago. I love sushi. It's fun with chopsticks!

+1 yI've done that before, but not really practiced. Though, a chinese dude once told me "you you tell the difference by those who shovel and those who eat it piece by piece"

+1 yYes we learned in class in second grade. Teacher was Chinese or something. Always thought it was cool.

+1 yYes but I prefer the dignity of a knife and fork. The only reason for a westerner to use chop sticks is to prove they can.
21 Reply 1.7K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Yes you take the chopsticks. You throw them in the garbage. Then you ask for a fork.
12 ReplyNope never tried it... I hope it's easier than it looks
13 ReplyYes , I learned on my own so I hold them differently than anybody I’ve ever seen. So people make fun of me sometimes but oh well lol

+1 yI used to be really good with them. My oldest daughter loves sushi. But I'm sure I've fallen out of practice.
10 ReplyI do. My Japanese mother taught me when I was a kid. But given a choice between chopsticks and a knife and fork, the flatware wins every time.
10 ReplyI can, but not skilled or confidently enough to go to one of the countries that uses them and try to use them. I at least don’t cross them very much anymore, so that’s a plus.

+1 yNo. Lol. I'm from the country. I've only been in a Chinese restaurant like 4 times in my life.
