Absolutely, I do! Using chopsticks is like an art form, enhancing the entire dining experience. When I first traveled to Japan, mastering chopsticks felt essential for truly savoring authentic dishes like sushi and ramen. Each meal was a delightful challenge, bringing out different flavors in every bite. The technique allows you to connect with the food in a more intimate way, making it a memorable dining adventure. 🍣🥢

1 yLord, no, haha
I don't really like most Asian foods though, other than a few āAmericanā Chinese food items. Pork fried rice, chicken fingers, boneless spare ribs, beef teriyaki sticks (shouldnāt that be Japanese?🤔)ā¦. thatās pretty much the only Asian food I ever eat. Maybe Orange Chicken or General Tsoās Chicken, or beef or chicken with broccoliā¦. like basic āhoodā Chinese restaurant fare, $4.99 special you could eat off of for a couple days, haha.
I HATE sushi with the fire of a thousand suns (I donāt even like COOKED seafood, haha), and I donāt like anything noodle-based. If I eat anything Asian, rice will be the carb. And Iām not sure how good chopsticks are for rice. Outside of American foods (āhealthyā foods, like chicken breast, cruciferous vegetables, or salad greens, etcā¦EW😝), Mexican or Puerto Rican food is what I primarily eat, and I canāt really eat rice and beans with chopsticks, lmao, so thereās just no real cause for me to learn

FOODFIGHT! 31 ReplyYes, that and blowing smoke rings are basically the closest things I have to party tricks. I'm actually really good with chopsticks and eat with them often and use them in cooking too. I don't blow smoke rings anymore though because I quit vaping and cigs for about 3 years now.

Bubbles are fun. How are you at blowing bubbles?
Yes. Been to Japan, there wasn't much of an alternative. The trick is to have one stick that rests on the space between your thumb and index finger and which should stay static. You just move the other one, the one that is further away from your body. Only if there are a lot of tiny bits to pick up can it become a bit tiresome at the end.
10 Reply301 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Yes
It's actually a smart way to cut down on calorific intake. The mouthfuls consumed are smaller, the time between each one is longer and gives more time for chewing and eating. I also think it has a lot to do with the effort of collecting, balancing and moving the food being more difficult.
However, soup is a bit difficult but after living in Asia for a while I found that spoons aren't always necessary when you can lift the bowl and drink directly from it.10 Reply

m 1 yyes, I do... I was always curious about them, so I would make my own as a kid, and a teen... and that's how I learned to use them, lmfao...

When I go to Asian restaurants I ask for a fork.
A fork you can hold more food onto it and the fork keeps. your food more stable.
Rather than using chopsticks a tiny bit at a time.
And it's hard to pick up rice.

Step one: open the container that hold the chopsticks.
Step two: break chopsticks apart.
Step three: throw chopsticks in the garbage.
Step four: grab a fork.

Opinion Owner1 yI should have known better! I wasn't talking about YOU! I was talking about other's on this question that play tag team with each other all day and are obviously the same person with multiple accounts. Their old ring leader was recently banned recently and over night her side kick created a few more accounts to take her place. It was posted on GAG Community a few days ago with proof but was removed after a couple hrs. I guess it shouldn't bother me but it makes me not even wanna be a part of this site anymore! Their behavior is obnoxious!
