If you want a veggie burger, just say so. I personally want a nice well done burger with double ground beef patties (not chuck) and a warm buttery brioche bun OR a nice sesame seed bun. I want American cheese and BBQ sauce instead of ketchup. I’m even tempted to put a juicy piece of boneless chicken on top. I want a cup of chili on the side in case I decide to turn it into a chili burger with mustard. I dislike bacon/lettuce/tomato/onion so no need for any of that!! First, I don't like any sandwich that is so tall that I can't fit my mouth around it. Also the amount of burger in a burger should be in proportion to the sandwich. I don't like triple or quadruple patties on a bun. So, ... my go-to burger would be a 1/3 lb of juicy ground beef (80/20 fat content - not lean), cooked medium, on a nice bruschetta bun with cheddar cheese, bacon, crunchy romaine lettuce, BBQ sauce, and either onion rings or onion tanglers.
I usually don't like tomatoes or dill pickles on my burgers. But sometimes I'll have a burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, tomato, bread and butter pickles, and 1000 island dressing.
There's a place called Big A Burgers in the town near me. It's like a small old fashioned diner inside but also has car hop service. They have a great menu and good prices.
A couple of their burgers that I get from time to time just to mix things up are:
Ortega burger - burger and bun as described above, plus pepper jack cheese, an Ortega chili pepper, lettuce, onion rings, and chipotle mayonaise.
Polynesian burger - burger and bun, Swiss cheese, ham (Canadian bacon-style), sliced pineapple, onion tanglers, BBQ sauce.
At In and Out Burger, I always get my burger with lettuce, cheese, raw AND grilled onions. No pickles or tomato.
Salad dressing on the burger 💀 But yea the places i want my burgers from are $20-30 burgers that better be so good otherwise i’ll be pissed for payin so much. And i’ve always wanted to try In N Out. Maybe i will when i go back to Vegas
I never pay that much for a burger. All the amazing burgers I talked about at that Big A place are $9 or $10. No burger is worth more than $15. It's sandwich. I rarely ever pay more than $30 for a delicious meal at a nice restaurant, and I'm not talking about chain restaurants.
I agree that its nuts. But some look so appealing that i’m okay paying for it once. And if its the best thing ever, i’ll buy more. These are burgers from certain restaurants in Miami, Vegas and Australia, so I’m not surprised bu their prices. Even their non-appealing burgers are $10-20 so i rather pay $30 for their yummy lookin one. When i went to Vegas last time, it was $60 for 6 ribs. They were huge but had horrible vinegar based BBQ sauces. I ate 2 and took the rest back to the hotel. Now even tho my hotel was 700/night for the view, it didn't come with a microwave. So my other ribs went to waste. Never again...

I'd want a veggie burger or a black bean burger with tomato, onion, pickles, and with either mustard, chipotle mayo, or bbq sauce. I'd want it on a brioche or sesame bun.
For a quick lunch break I like the classic hamburger stand toppings, minus the pickle: Ketchup, mustard, diced raw onion, salt, and pepper. Add mayo every once in a while.
For a more complex flavor, I love bacon, cream cheese, sprouts and onion.
More like a drive-thru or window order only place. All they do is hamburgers, malts, and fries (with fish sandwiches during lent only). They have a few more toppings now then they used to, but the only toppings you can choose from are Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, Raw Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Pickles, and bacon. But the burgers are very good, and very inexpensive.
Two patties, American cheese, shredded mozzarella, crispy bacon strips, chopped fried onions, and ketchup on the TOP and BOTTOM of the bun! Pretty much what you'd get at Five Guys.

I just had a Checkers burger for the first time last night. I did not get the toppings that was supposed to be on the burger so I had to make some adjustments. I don't like raw onions, mayo and pickles. So MY toppings were: •Cheese •Lettuce & Tomatoes •Ketsup
Brioche bun or bust. Grass fed beef or a good veggie patty. Cheese, ideally cheddar, miss me with crap cheese - give me artisan made good quality cheese. Bacon. Ideally wild boar. Egg, overmedium. Avocado. Tomato, beefsteak or another fleshy variety. Red onion. Mushrooms fried until slightly crispy. Fresh butter lettuce. Ketchup, mustard, a bit of relish.
Gotta have deliciously seasoned, crispy fries, too. Ideally curly, or waffle. Otherwise, shoestring.
Burger corn bread, yellow mustard on the bottom, one medium rare burger, 2 cm thick cheese on top (1 year aged at least) and an ice cold Desperado beer on the side. Nothing less, nothing more. I like how you put chili on the side just in case 👍
Fried egg, sauteed mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, cheese, A1, BBQ sauce, ketchup, hollandaise and a lot more. Basically if I think it might taste good on a burger, I'm going to throw it on one.
Honestly I'm really humble and simple Burger King bacon cheeseburger is good but I really like when you add lettuce and tomatoes... Its just the best burger... The meat tastes incredible.
Burger king and Checkers/Rallys has some of the best tasting burgers. But when it comes to the one i just really want, it won't be from a fast food place in America. They dont make it big like the ones in UK and AU that i want to try

The smell of pickles make my eye twitch. And it makes me mad that Burger King almost always gives pickles against my wishes. I have to ask for my fams bottom bun to use as my top bun cause the pickle juicr soak into it haha
Medium well burger, toasted kaiser roll paintef with butter and garlic sauce. Ketchup and mustard on top, mayo on the bottom bun. Cheese would be provolone.
I only get bakery fresh ones, not the ones sold on shelves like loaves of bread. They are just soft on the inside, dont get soggy and can handle a lot of weight, and slightly crispy on the outside
I get ground sirloin and make them extra large. I just add bacon and lettuce. I buy extra large rolls at the local bakery and toast them. Salt and pepper..
I would want the works including pickles onions tomatoes etc. I probably like American or pepper. jsck cheese and at least 2 ground beef patties. Bread to me doesn't matter as long it's not stale or moldy yuck.
It can be made with many ingredients. When you want a regular burger it's often made out of soy beans, but there are also burgers made out of spinach, broccoli, tomatoes and other vegetables. I think there are often eggs involved as well.

Something cheesy, smokey and tangy. Maybe cheese and tomatoes are enough but adding onions, bacon, sour cream (preferably) yogurt, or ketchup and mustard, pickles/relish, pickled jalapenos and lettuce are a plus.
I am good with all of the normal items. Heavy pickles and onions please…. But I am also good with the out of the ordinary too. Blu cheese or goat cheese is fine. Mushrooms or lamb burgers too. what about you? What out of the ordinary do you like?
I could go for that burger too. My son is a meat and cheese kind of guy. Nothing else but maybe bbq sauce. No mayo or mustard or condiments of any kind.
