My answer is none, I can't drink them big name brand bottles of pop
I have an allergic reaction to a chemical they put in them. It affects my kidneys and liver
Them bottles of pop can make me super sick. Just one glass, landed me in hospital a few years ago.
I want to know why they have to put chemicals in our food. That should be outlawed.
I can only have the 100% organic kinds of pop.
But in most cases I don't even drink pop.
Two reasons why
Organic is super expensive and its very hard to find sometimes
PS
That also goes for fast food joints, meals that come in a box and so on
This is why we grow and rasie our own food.
Phenylketonuria which, in a person with PKU, means their bodies cannot adequately handle phenylalanine.
From The Mayo Clinic...
www.mayoclinic.org/.../faq-20058361
My favorite diet soda has a warning about phenylalanine. Is phenylalanine bad for your health?
Answer From Katherine Zeratsky, R. D., L. D.
Phenylalanine isn't a health concern for most people. However, for people who have the genetic disorder phenylketonuria (PKU) or certain other health conditions phenylalanine can be a serious health concern.
Phenylalanine can cause intellectual disabilities, brain damage, seizures and other problems in people with PKU. Phenylalanine occurs naturally in many protein-rich foods, such as milk, eggs and meat. Phenylalanine is also sold as a dietary supplement.
The artificial sweetener aspartame (Equal, NutraSweet), which is added to many medications, diet foods and diet sodas, contains phenylalanine.
Federal regulations require that any beverage or food that contains aspartame bear this warning: "Phenylketonurics: Contains phenylalanine." This warning helps people with PKU avoid products that are a source of phenylalanine.
If you don't have PKU, you probably don't need to worry about harmful health effects of phenylalanine — with certain important exceptions. Aspartame in large doses can cause a rapid increase in brain levels of phenylalanine. Because of this, use products with aspartame cautiously if you:
Take certain medications, such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors, neuroleptics or medications that contain levodopa (Sinemet, Rytary, others)
Have the muscle movement disorder tardive dyskinesia
Have a sleep disorder, anxiety disorder or other mental health condition; phenylalanine may worsen feelings of anxiety and jitteriness
If you aren't sure if phenylalanine or aspartame is a concern for you, talk to your doctor. A blood test to determine if you have PKU is available and is now routinely done as part of newborn screening.

Overview
Phenylketonuria (fen-ul-key-toe-NU-ree-uh), also called PKU, is a rare inherited disorder that causes an amino acid called phenylalanine to build up in the body. PKU is caused by a change in the phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH) gene. This gene helps create the enzyme needed to break down phenylalanine.
Without the enzyme necessary to break down phenylalanine, a dangerous buildup can develop when a person with PKU eats foods that contain protein or eats aspartame, an artificial sweetener. This can eventually lead to serious health problems.
For the rest of their lives, people with PKU — babies, children and adults — need to follow a diet that limits phenylalanine, which is found mostly in foods that contain protein. Newer medications may allow some people with PKU to eat a diet that has a higher or an unrestricted amount of phenylalanine.
Babies in the United States and many other countries are screened for PKU soon after birth. Although there is no cure for PKU, recognizing PKU and starting treatment right away can help prevent limitations in areas of thinking, understanding and communicating (intellectual disability) and major health problems.
Diet grapefruit Shasta. Not sure why but I could drink it all day.
Thanks for the MHO!
Of course! Thanks for the thoughtful answer. I will have to try diet grapefruit shasta. I imagine it is like fresca or diet squirt.
I couldn't vote, but I love any Ginger ale. I wonder if you're still active, I have copied your profile link to a new user that I think could really benefit to talking to you. Take care.
Water is the only “diet” beverage i can drink! Sorry, but I just cannot do the “diet” soda thing! All of my friends think I’m crazy, and say you’ll get used to the flavor, but I remember when people said the same thing about vaping to me! Plus, I absolutely despise the taste of artificial sweeteners, so I drink the “Real Sugar Pepsi” because I don’t think high fructose corn syrup is good for you, but I limit my weekly intake to maybe two or three max! Even so I rarely drink THAT much!
Ginger or sprite

I don't drink any caffeine-free sodas. I used to drink Coke Zero, which is technically diet but has lots of caffeine. I mostly drink Water and sometimes Gatorade Zero, both of which are low-calorie and caffeine-free.
I like gatorade zero too
Among the colas, I prefer Coke Zero.
Among the non-colas, I prefer Diet Sprite Zero.
When I was a kid, I liked diet Dr. Pepper a lot, but now, yuk - I don't drink soda, diet or otherwise. It's actually not good for you at all. The only time I DO have it is when I'm mixing it with something else not good for me - alcohol!! I like Moscow Mules with diet Ginger Beer sometimes. Otherwise, I stay away from the stuff.
I make it!
I take a bottle of mineral water, usually Topo Chico, but sometimes Perrier, Sanpelligrino, or Gerolsteiner, and then add either a fruit juice (which does have calories) or squirt in lemon or lime juice which has almost no calories.
"loves' I have up just about all soda, and stick to water or 'bubbly water"
@Bricealan hmm? Lol
Zero sugar and zero calories.
I don't really drink much soda, but I picked the diet Gingerale. I really enjoy the standard Canada Dry Ginger ale, so I'm guessing the diet version is probably OK as well.
I drink mostly unsweetened flavored (usually orange) sparkling water and occasionally splurge and have a real Coke.
I like these two, Diet A&W Root beer and Diet Squirt Pop
Walmart's diet Dr. Thunder which is a Dr. Pepper clone at HALF the retail price. ;)
NONE! I STOPPED drinking pop years ago! I only drink Canada Dry Ginger Ale when I'm sick!
I would never buy diet. Rather drink water. 💧
I enjoy diet caffeine free soda as an alternative to water but I know water is important too. 😇
I really don't care for ANY no caffeine sodas. But if I was forced to pick one I could tolerate cherry 7up (not diet). But I wouldn't because I don't drink sugary drinks pretty much the only pop I drink is coke zero or cherry coke zero.
Aspartame, ace-K, and many other toxic sweeteners are harmful for the body and can harm the brain cells. I try not to drink diet sodas.
I rarely ever drink any. If I do, it's Coke Zero, but that has caffeine.
Ahhhhhhh... What is the point of no caffeine? lol
Canada Dry, Diet!
I like that too. But diet squirt and diet Sunkist are soo good too!
I like that too! I have enjoyed sparkling water since I was a kid.
Diet Dr Pepper
It is truly as good as the original. However NOT caffeine free. Still. I am drinking it right now. 😇
