Is anyone having lamb for Easter?

As a sheep farmer Easter lamb annoys me. Lambs are born around now and won't be ready to eat until autumn. You've either got to import it from New Zealand or buy low-quality indoor-reared lamb. You'd be better off finding a decent butcher and buying some hogget (1-2 years) which is a far better meat.

The only reason you want Easter lamb is that it's the only animal Satan can't transform into.

We're having Easter dinner at a Brazilian restaurant and lamb is one of the meats they serve, so we probably will be having some lamb on Easter.

I’m not having lamb however at work I brought up fried rabbit in which I have never had & that went over big. Did you ever have rabbit.

Nooo!!! Baby sheep are too cute to eat, their ugly adult parents are just fine though but won't taste nearly as good.

Of course you can tell I grew up on a farm, raising, sheep, goats and other critters. Hard to eat your pets.

I don't know what my brother is cooking, but there's about a 99.999% chance it won't be lamb. The last time I had lamb, was at a stockyard auction. They were grilling free lamb burgers! Dang, those were good.

I made my family come with me to have chargrill oysters 🦪!! Great way to celebrate Easter 🐣! We were surprised with an Easter parade after the meal.

We only eat lamb once a decade or so because my mother does not like to eat lamb. I'm able to eat certain types of lamb but not others - high quality lamb makes me happy and low quality lamb makes me disgusted.

Likely not. Our Easter is next week, on April 16th. We spend it with my family - I’m not sure yet what they will be cooking. We will probably have ham like last year, plus the traditional side dishes and desserts.
