What is a food you think is overated?

I just had my first wagyu steak and don't get the hype.

I have never liked fries that much - They have a very mild taste, make me very thirsty and lead to weight gain and have tons of oil. I think another reason I do not like fries is that in our Chinese culture, we have potato dishes that taste hundreds of times better than fries so once you eat Chinese style potatoes, fries are as boring as water.

I'd say bacon as that food wants to dominate everything. It is good but it doesn't have to be added to every dish. I would've said pickles too but those are much more hyped down now. I do love them though!
