Food Poll: who has the Best Fries?

I like Arby's curly fries, Chi-fil-a's waffle fries, Rally's fries, Culver's crinkle fries, Dairy Queen's fries, Taco Bell's fries, and wendy's fries. Any other and it'd be Pennestation's fries (they make their own and they're freshly cooked & salted). McDonald's fries would be the last ones.

Of those I've tried, I'd say Checkers- but the last time I had them was back in the days before the trans panic (no, no, the trans FAT panic), and things were fried in oil that actually tasted good, so they didn't have to be so heavily salted that just looking at them raised your blood pressure.

Nowadays... I don't know.

When I lived in the US none of the franchises could do a descent 'fries' I'm from the UK and 'fries' are called chips over here and the best are from Fish & Chip Shops, I only found one place while in the US that did decent 'fries', it was a small family run restaurant that hand cut them about 3/8" square and twice fried them, crisp on the outside, fluffy inside.

As far as I know, McDonald's, unless they joined the rest of the idiots and refused to peel the potatoes before making therm into fries!
But, the only others I've had (except for small mom & pop places) is Burger King and Wendy's. Maybe Eat & Park.
When I used to work at Cedar Point, I loved their fries because they were just like McD;'s so, every time I had a break, I'd head over to the fries place at the end of the midway and order fries.

Jack in the box and Chick-fil-A. Craved these both so bad during my pregnancies. Probably cause I lived right next to jack in the box and it was very tempting to walk there everyday for fries 😋 🍟

God, I hate to say it but Mickey D's still has the best. Then it would Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. KFC does no justice and Raising Cane's is bland. In fact everything from them is super bland and mediocre.
