Yes, it was not good but I was dangerously incompetent at preparing it.

My Portuguese husband loves rabbit. I tried it twice and was not impressed. There are just far more flavorful meats with much better textures. It's like tasteless, dry chicken or turkey with too much chew.
I can list a ton of meats that are better; frog, alligator, turkey, chicken, beef, elk, antelope, deer, fish, crustaceans, etc.
Bison and duck have better texture, but their flavors bore me too. Clam and scallops done right have better textures.
Some people like rabbit meat. Personally I find it too lean.
I did.
The rabbit in question was dead.
I had grilled it - they need a little longer to be ''right'' - It was tasty.

Nope. I don't think I'd ever want to.
I tried it at a Christmas party and it’s one of the worst things I ever tasted. I feel sorry for the family that brought it, cause they tried so hard to give us a unique delicacy and it ended up being a flop.
Yeah, eating Rabbit can get paw bruises on your face.
Seriously, rabbit I had tasted, yes gamey, cardboardy, and had a different texture than say, chicken. I'm never know chicken to have a texture while I was eating.Oh my god the photo 🤣
I have had rabbit. It was alright. Not something I’d be quick to try again soon.
I like rabbit enough that I learned how to dress and cook it from scratch but I don't often go and buy it because despite rabbits multiplying so damn fast it's a very expensive meat if you're feeding a big household.
If I ever manage to get the smallholding I'm looking for I'll probably raise them for meat along with chickens and ducksI was in basic training in Texas and we used to have fried rabbit a lot. It was a lot like fried chicken only you knew that it ws not a drumstick you were eating.
Yeah, once in a Paella dish in Spain and it was such tiny pieces, I woudln't even know I was eating rabbit. Then one time my mom made it for the holidays using a traditional mustard recepe, and I didn't like it that much to be honest

Yes. I had rabbit at a fancy restaurant once. Tasted just like chicken.
Yes I've had rabbit. It's quite good. He was cooked with a white gravy sauce. I first thought it was chicken. After meal was finished I was told what it was rabbit. Yes I would probably eat it again.

Yes. The only annoying thing was having to spit out the lead pips.
I won't again, the kids had pet rabbits.
I had rabbit stew once. It had vegetables in it also. It was good, though it could have used a little more seasoning, but other than that, it was delicious. I noticed every type of meat tastes different. I'll try anything twice though!
Not very often, but yes, over many years I happened to eat rabbit meat occasionally. Believe me, it has a special and delicious taste which is easy to recognize. You should try Poppy. Sure you'll find some good recipe on the Web ;0)
I have. It's all right. I like bear and moose a lot better.
Not like that! lol 😳 I don't think I've had rabbit, but I would try it. I know it's really lean.
Yes I've eaten Rabbit regularly, but its not something I'd eat weekly, to be done best in a slow cooker, keeps the meat moist and stops it becoming taste less, especially if its farmed rabbit, wild rabbit has a better flavour.
it's supposed to be some fancy meat but in reality it's one evolution above rat. no thank you!
Never had rabbit.
