Yes. People rely more on what companies have already made, even as simple as using precooked rice instead of making it from scratch. Rather than get ingredients to make gravy, it's already in a can or jar.

100% barely anyone cooks anymore and if you do it's seen as odd

I certainly don't see many home cooks making their own broths and stocks these days. It'd be very difficult for me to match the diligence of my grandparents and great grandparents that way. I think everything is about fast and easy these days.

back in days they used to have more time to spend on cooking
nowadays we barely find time to eat while sitting down being all busy n in rush
