PRACTICE Makes PERFECT as they say & in ten years my cooking has improved & I can only imagine what it will be in the next ten years.
On the other side of things TRIAL & ERROR is the way to go when it comes to cooking & from time to time I try new things & if it does work out I have my favorite pizza place one speed dial.

No, or not much within the last 10 years.
They improved massively compared to ~15 years ago.If you asked more than 20 years ago, definitely. My Mom one time didn't want to make a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch one time, so I REALLY wanted one.
But I cooked it by placing it on a plate, and tried to cook it in the microwave. Burnt the cheese to the plate, so had to throw the plate away.
But now, I'm a lot better. I think I do good, definitely not professional level.
From 10 years ago? Yeah. A little bit. A subscription to Cook’s Magazine was a big thing, and also buying some good cook books and just trying new things.
Most of my skill at cooking started in my early
20s. Living alone for a few years meant cooking for myself. I just dislike fast food & derive a ton of happiness from food. I was surprised how many girls were intrigued by a man who loved cooking it just kicked my interest into high gear.Oh definitely, a lot has changed in that time. It was about 10 years ago that I had to completely change my diet to be entirely dairy free. At the time many restaurants even in SoCal were not dairy free or vegan friendly so I had to make do on my own through trial and error. A lot of error 🥴. Needless to say I am thankful for the popularity of vegan food. 😂
I've probably had small improvements over the last couple of decades, but my big improvements came as a teenager, in the 80s, when I started cooking full meals at home and started cooking in a restaurant. I moved out at 19 and cooked most of my meals after that.
My wife couldn’t cook much at all when we married and now her cooking makes me disappointed when I go to restaurants since her food is usually much better. She made me a chicken soup the other day as I was sick, without a recipe and it was professional level. It was a single bowl of soup with everything in it that you would expect in a high quality restaurant. So much amazing food here.

It’s probably gotten worse because I don’t cook any longer really and I’m sure the next time I make a grilled cheese sandwich it could be burned a bit. You have to really watch it like a hawk you can’t disappear. It can burn real fast on a frying pan it’s like a five minute job or less. You gotta be right there constantly flipping and putting in the right amount of butter doing enough certain amount of flips.
I took Culinary Arts multiple years in school, so I've been a great cook since I was a teen. Can't say that my cooking quality has improved, but I have learned more recipes and branched out more in the past 10 years.
My mom is a fantastic chef.
Whenever I get compliments from her, I cherish 'em.
I can't account for 10 years but I can at least say that I've been getting more-and-more compliments in recent years.
Taste the same I don't bake will start soon but in 10 years far as I'm concerned the ginger in the cookie taste the same, now what I'm going to this year make my own from scratch and add coconut, steps of coconut to see how it would taste,
I kinda always make the same dishes over and over again, but to be honest I don't think my cooking has improved much. I'm very inconsistent with it too. I follow recipes pretty well though and can replicate most recipes.
I’ve always been able to cook. As have both my grown up children. Some of us have a knack and others have to learn.
lol I am Luck These Days I Boil Water. I USED TO BE The Cook of the Century and a Betty Baker. xxoo
I would rather set the kitchen on fire. How about that?
It has, and all because of my cherished mother and grandma, who wanted me to help them when they were cooking, which really benefited me.
I never really cooked much before covid. I became unemployed and tried to teach myself how to cook some things.
Probably not. Usually cooked to eat, something quick and easy. Never really took time to learn to cook to enjoy food

I wasn’t cooking all too well at 11 years old so I’d say yeah!
