What do you think of someone with good cooking skills or an interest in it?

I'm not a chef, but I love to cook and have honed my skills through recipes and tutorials. Something I take a lot of pride in is cooking for friends and family, though I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to my cooking and always want to serve the perfect meal.

Do you enjoy cooking as well? Do you enjoy being cooked for? Is being a good cook a great attribute?

A good cook is a treasure. Good quality, tasty food is one of life's greatest delights.

I can and do cook to some extent, and have a few specialties, but I don't really enjoy cooking. I enjoy eating delicious food, though, and I love being cooked for.

My wife doesn't mind cooking and does a really good job. Except for some of her usual specialties, she looks up recipes, follows them, and makes some truly gourmet meals. She is also good at improvising amazing flavors. And she's into health, so she uses healthy ingredients. You would pay a lot of money for some of those meals in a restaurant.

It's a survival skill. Everyone doesn't need to be 5 star cook but knowing how to preserve meat or how to cook basic ingredients is an essential skill to feed yourself and people depending on you.
Of course I have the time and opportunity to perfect my cooking skill and I do. It's a part of my personal self-improvement like learning languages I need for 10 minutes per month in my real life.

I like preparing food, don't do too much cooking cause my dad likes to hog the kitchen to himself since he is better at cooking then me, but I do prepare meals and cook for the three of us when my dad is away at the office and not able to cook for us.

Yes being a great cook is definitely an amazing attribute something I pray my future wife has one day, I would love being cooked for and I was cooked for at one point but let's just say her cooking wasn't worth her disloyalty.

I do cooking and I really enjoy swapping recipes with other people that cook. Dinner and a movie swapping who picks the meal and movie, it's one of my favorite things.
