What old food should be more popular?

Today's elevenses consisted of pieces of Shropshire Blue cheese sandwiched between pieces of welsh oatcakes. Welsh oatcakes kinda fall halfway between the floppy English oatcake and the Scottish crispy one. Once every home had a oatcake drying rack but I had to make do with a grill.

Despite basically being a flattened dehydrated bowl of porridge, the light crispy yet flexible texture played well with the creaminess of the cheese transporting me back to a bygone era where girls would jiggle their buttocks on street corners to sell oatcakes filled with eggs and cockles.

So what old forgotten food needs to make a come back? Perhaps something your granny made but you just don't see any more?
