I tried a tiny bit of African food and a little bit of Caribbean food. Both were flavourful and cool, but I liked Caribbean food a little more, because it was more similar to what I had in the past.

Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Jamaican food are pretty common in Florida and they share similar dishes with Dominican Republic, Grenada, Barbados, etc. so I guess you could say I'm familiar.
