I never have, until tonight. I feel bad for doing it but he asked "if I enjoyed my meal." I usually never complaine, because it isn't like I'm doing finer dinning, but I did complain. My mozzarella sticks had to be sent back TWICE, because they were still frozen in the middle. My fries were pretty much burned My omelet was good but the cheese wasn't melted!

I did leave the waitress a decent tip, because she was understanding.

It's my only time complaining about a meal! Have you ever complained?

Once in a small diner, I got chicken that was still pink inside. It reminded me of a night market in Tokyo where food was always cooked perfectly, so this really stood out. I politely mentioned it, they apologized, remade the dish, and even comped dessert.

I never have but mother complains all the time! She's actually had us banned from take out 😆 🤣 The funny thing is, she's never cooked an edible meal in her life but critiques everyone else's cooking! Like you, I accept what I'm paying for and it's always been good. As a cc former waitress, I'm glad you didn't take it out on her! It seems like there were other problems going on that were beyond her control.

Yes! The waitress told me they lost power for about an hour before I got there. But the manager told me the kitchen was up and running. He lied

😆 🤣 Yes, it's happened to me when I was a waitress. That's why your mozzarella sticks were still frozen in the middle and your fries were burnt. When power is lost, it takes at least an hour to regulate the temperature for the deep fryer. They should have closed the restaurant for a couple hours but probably didn't, because they didn't wanna turn customer's away. Don't feel bad, I'm guessing you weren't the only person that complained under those circumstances lol

I have never sent food back. I’ve known too many people in food service to do that. Watch “Waiting” and understand that there’s less exaggeration than you would expect.
Only once in my life have i felt the need to send food back. Instead i asked the manager to deduct the food i didn’t eat, i tipped the waitress modestly and i left.
Otherwise, if i have a very bad experience at a restaurant, i let them know as i’m leaving and i don’t go back.
