Why is cooking still expected of women instead of all genders?

Because women are more finicky than us.
We are like "Food: Good".
So, you feed a man anything, and he'll eat it.
And if he cooks, he'll cook anything.
"Hey, honey, how about Sugar Pops cereal and beer for dinner?"
She's not going to want to do that.
So, to make her happy, she needs to eat what she wants. He'll go along with it because it's food.

Because the guy is paying for the roof over your head most likely and you’re not paying for it. That’s how it usually works. So it’s nice for a woman to help a guy out in some sort of way by cooking at least

If she lives in her own house or apartment, then she doesn’t have to come over all the time and cook for the boyfriend That’s just a nice gesture and that’s different.
