If there is a health harmlessness study, scientists who made this study should be forced to eat those potatoes at least 2 years and than should be studied next 5 years if they don't develop some digustingly looking mutations. Then 10 year long study if they didn't develop any carcinoma. If all 3 studies are negative I would try, otherwise no.
I trust science but not unconditionally.
No, I wouldn't. I prefer natural food and don't see the point of genetically engineering a potato to taste like chicken. A potato is a potato, and chicken is chicken. Not everything needs to be genetically modified just to imitate something else.
Think I'll pass.
Alternatively when making chips parboil your potatoes in chicken stock before deep frying. Or if you really want to chest crumble a chicken stock cube into a powder and season your potatoes after cooking. Works well with homemade crisps.
I mean, i'm fine with keeping my chicken and potatoes separate. Besides didn't Burger King already beat them to the punch with "chicken fries"?😆
I might try it more out of curiosity. Provided the acquired the chicken flavor in some NON-ghoulish way.😆
I would eat rotisserie costco chicken instead..
That's actually made from genetically engineered potatoes.
@RingOfFire nope 🙂↔️
It would be good to flavor soup or something. If you want chicken flavor just ad chicken.
Well I don't eat meat and never did like chook. But most of all, I am not going to support rapist potatoes. Who could and still respect themselves after what happened to that poor ho.
i bet it would be good if it was run through the fryolator. Fried chicken that looks like french fries.
Sure. Nearly everything you eat is GM/GE anyway.
Leave my potatoes alone.
No, but make a potato that tastes like pussy and I'll be sure to check it out.
no I don’t play around with chemicals changing the taste of real potatoes
Sure, I'm not worried about genetically engineered food.
Nope dont eat potatoes very much at all spikes my blood sugar
Now if they could just make a genetically engineered chicken that tastes like potatoes.
Why the heck not!
Nope. Organic or nothing.
Nope, I'm a vegetarian.
I would not. That is DISGUSTING
No I wouldn't. I try not to eat any GMOs
No thanks
nah never!!
Too Weird!

I’d absolutely try the Poulette potato 🍗🥔
I love when science and tradition meet on the plate. A chicken-flavored potato reminds me of Japanese snack culture, where chips taste like everything from grilled squid to steak. As long as it’s safe and transparently developed, I’d be curious to taste it roasted, maybe with herbs, to see how close it gets to real chicken.
