  Someone can be good looking but not be your type. Example - light skin man , skinny.
  I might be into dark skin men that are muscular.
  Someone not being your type does not necessarily mean you see them as ugly.

  Alright then, what about this you can find guys who are (in my case) 10, 20, even 30 sometimes years older than you attractive but they're not your type because of age. For example a lot of people say cher and tina turner are still really attractive, despite being in their 70s, and I find hugh Jackman and vin diesel good looking and they're late 40s.
