Wonder Woman, The Image Of A Modern Girl

Im not really a fan of a super hero movie.

But i love taking notes of personalities in watching movies.

WONDER WOMAN, being strong doesn't make her manly.

Super heroes are figures of human strength. And modern woman society is percieve as independent strong women. Wonder woman doesn't make her strong as she is. She is actually feminine as she shows her vulnerability in her heart. She has empathy and thats how she is motivate to fight and lead way to get to win the war(from the movie itself). Her strength is a source of her will power, thats where she gets her strength and she becomes independent because of her beliefs

If Modern Women lives like Wonder Woman?

Imagine our generation fills with empathy like wonder woman. Women that are more inspiring, speaks with virtues and sense. (I know its just a movie, but hey, some movies gives moral lesson that makes it great. ) I think more women would earn more respect, and admiration.

I observe that in our generation, woman act to be more cool, where doing bad makes you cool, doing good makes you weak. Some woman are like this, but today. Woman are afraid to speak up.

If woman would be like the 1900's?

Those women are in the history. Previously women wears more formally. Speaks more intelligent. And woman are respected thats why there are a lot of gentlemen. Nowadays things are different. But is this what we really want the way we should progress?

I just think that, I dont want to be super hero like her. But i guess its a good way that women would adapt personalities like what she have this days, its a great change

The key fact here wonder woman is strong and FEMININE. You can still be feminine and have any other positive characteristics. Of course its becoming the opposite to be successful for many women now seems they have to be less feminine.

Like you said women stop being feminine guys stop being gentleman. Empathy is something we all need to develop, men and women.

Too skinny to play an Amazonian. She could play a really tall, skinny 10-year-old Amazonian, maybe. But for THE actual Wonder Woman, I think they should have cast a bigger, bulkier actress.

And I don't mean "skinny fit," I'm talking a REAL, POWERFULLY built woman.

Wonder Woman is a sexy tomboy who is still a proud woman but isn't a misandrist as she respects men and isn't a total butch lesbian feminist yet she is more respected and adored by men then most male characters. She isn't perfect, she knows and we know. Even though she is a fucking demigod she is still relatable.

Women aren't super strong or have bulletproof sheilds they can use like CPT America. They also aren't the children of a war god and they don't have impenetrable lassos they use to command the truth. So living up to her standards is ridiculous. Also, 19th century women didn't exactly have the same rights and opportunities they have now.

Wonder woman has been around a long time. The previous incarnation was with Linda Carter she had a presence tall and a shape to die for. She took up this batton back in 1975.
Strong women have always been with us and I admire them , they do things and get things done , where men just strut around supposedly in charge.. I like the saying behind every great man there's a even greater woman. Personally I think women are great where would we be without them...

People liked Diana because she was human and relatable. She didn't pretend to have no flaws. Too many of these female "role models" are written to be like the Terminatrix: Perfect at everything they do, physically attractive, can kick the ass of every male character, zero emotion and utterly fucking boring. Wonder Woman was a refreshing departure from this patronizing lack of imagination that has dominated female protagonists in movies and TV.

I just loved the way that Gal Gadot played the role. It wasn't overbearing in some kind of Tom-boyish Amazonian way like other portrayals. It had strength, femininity, and grace. She also had a naivete that was really sweet.

It is easily one of the best movies in the DC-verse thus far.

I still think she wasn't a believable Wonder Woman. They cast a supermodel whose entire career to that point could be summed up by the term eye-candy. To me, that casting decision alone detracts from the message the movie tries to convey. Instead, it sort of sends the message that as long as you're pretty enough and you let people ogle you enough, then you get to be like Wonder Woman.

I agree.. Gal Gadot was the bomb as Wonder-woman.. So, cute, and lovin yet strong.. And she didn't make men out to be these slime-ball humans who make everything worse, or bad.. It was a good moderation.. Good take..

I totally agree. I mean, her body looked amazing in Wonder Woman but what I wouldn't have given to have seen her with ripped arms, at least! I hate how Hollywood is always like "We can't let our actresses get too muscular, they might look many!" *eye roll* Like muscles inherently make a woman look less feminine. Please!

There have always been strong women. However, in todays society being a strong and muscular individual is mostly just about looking good for social media. I think that the gifts that people are given or achieve are put to waste. In my opinion Wonder Woman tells girls to only look good and to be strong in a cosmetic way. Which will eventually end in the total inhalation of confidence in young women
