Lol agree and disagree with this lol you can gladly pay my bills... jk but women are starting to take over the roll men desire... I feel the past few years roles have reversed... men always get a bad name for one night stands no commitment cheating etc... girls were always kinda the victims... now girls are just as bad we are just better at manipulating and hiding it (I’m not sayin it’s a good thing) we don’t want to give a Man the upper hand by allowing him to take care of us or be the provider we would rather maintain independence... could be no ones truly invested anymore or always has a guard up
On the chivalry thing you're absolutely right.
For those of you that don't know, chivalry dates back to the middle ages and was the beginning of the human rights movement. Applying chivalry today means either a) You think women only deserve the sliver of human rights included in chivalry; or b) (applying human rights as well as chivalry) you believe women are socially superior to men.
I don't subscribe to either of those mindsets, so I cast chivalry over to the garbage pile of philosophies that have served their purpose and are now obsolete.
I only agree with one part out of this whole thing and that is that women are too busy with working or school and aren't usually bothered by guys.
But I disagree with the dead chivalry thing, first off I would feel offended if a guy pays the whole bill, I mean I don't expect him to but I wouldn't be mad at him. At most I'd feel guilty at myself for making him pay the whole bill. And opening doors and stuff, it's always good to do nice things for someone you like. To add, I don't just want a fuck buddy either, I want a serious relationship, my goal is to actually only have at max 2-3 relationships before getting married. Getting married in a serious relationship with my first boyfriend would be perfect for me (though I haven't had one yet, only want one when I'm in university). Then the don't treat a girl too good, I don't agree with that either, why wouldn't you treat someone good if you like them?
Wow... I'm glad I haven't met these feminists. The ones I've dated would have not had a second date if I didn't pay for the first date, and still go on and on about how I'd hold the door, open the car door, drive them up to the front of the restaurant / store if it was raining bring the umbrella around and walk them to the door, then go back in the rain to park. They also wouldn't be texting 6 or 7 guys at once. Maybe two, for a few days, then one. That's what I look for. That's what I like. It's not meant to offend or tell someone they're not capable. It's just manners, plain and simple. You can get your door and pay for your food the rest of the week, but when we're together, I'm going to take care of you. It's my privilege, and if you won't let me do those things, then I'll let you find someone who will let the door close on you, let you walk in the rain and puddles and then freeze your butt off in the cold restaurant. :-)
and the reason why men act stupid is so we dont have to deal with the craziness.

That said, I do partly agree with the second sentence in your final paragraph wherein you warned the guys about getting hurt, but, that goes with the dating territory and it goes both ways.

I said this to girls trying to put all guys in a box so Ill say this to you trying to put all women in a box. You dont know all women. Women dont know all men. Women will never fully understand men. You will never fully understand women. The exception is somebody trans if even. You dont know EVERY girl out there. So dont act like you do. While I do feel for ya saying that many women and men need exact equality nothing more or less, beleive me when I say plenty of women do work hard while may others are golddiggers who think housework and baby making is equivilent to serious money making work. Women can suck. Men can suck. Many suck. But all we can do is try to make things suck less.
I can´t speak for other girls, but I do love chivalrous guys. While I don´t need anyone to pay my way, it´s still nice to be treated to dinner or get occasional gifts just because they like me so much. While I won´t be looking to marry for a long time, I´m still dating only one guy at a time. I´m not being intimate with multiple partners at the same time. Guys should definitely keep putting some effort in, because even if busy working or studying, I´d still want that special someone around.
Most girls just want a hot guys (usually three or four) to have sex with... that’s pretty much it.

1. Chivalry is offensive only if it's forces her (and you) into a "box." As in, she cannot do things because she is a girl, and must have things done for her, yadda yadda.

2. A relationship is made of two people coming together to be exclusive. So, the relationship isn't important, the two people are. Without them coming together, a relationship wouldn't exist.
So, I say stop focusing on relationships and start focusing on the other person.

Better idea: I'll be who I want to be for me! I don't care what women want me to be, they can live their own life. That said, being a "Malfoy" won't get you laid (although it might get you arrested). Women don't want nice guys, or assholes. They want strong men... but even then they will shit-test him to death.

Bad boys have bad boy problems, like #metoo and morning after regrets in relation to affirmative consent being barred by alcohol. Don't be a bad boy to get bad girls, be a man and either find a decent woman or walk alone.
Though chivalry may no longer be a part of social mores, may of the offshoots spun from chivalry are still true. The powerful should have compassion for those they have power over, integrity remains one of the most admirable virtues. Taking responsibilility is still admirable and this society could do with a dose of etiquette.
