You likely drank some nonalcoholic drinks before you went to bed. The symptoms of a hangover are due to alcohol dehydrating your body, so drinking extra fluids before going to bed diminishes these dehydration symptoms, thus lightening the effects of a hangover.
You're young too. According to what I've heard, hangover symptoms for younger people are nothing compared to feelings after a night of drinking for older adults. I'm guessing this is because younger bodies are simply better at filtrating the alcohol out of one's body.

You didn't drink enough to dehydrate you, apparently. Lucky! :)
That only really averages out to a drink and a half an hour, which isn't very much. More than that- you're young, so your body recovers quickly to this kind of thing, and you drank water before bed. A lot of the reason for hangovers is because a person is dehydrated, alcohol can suck all the water out of you and the next morning you'll feel like absolute crap. Good trick- if you ever feel your mouth getting dry when you're drinking, grab the water instead, alcohol will only make it worse.
I sometimes get so drunk that I throw up but for some reason, I'm kinda OK the next day. Every once in a while I feel bad the next day but for the most part, I get drunk super quick and yet never seem to be too hungover the next day. I agree, it's really weird... guess it's genetics.
if you were drinking water as well, that could play a part

I've never got a proper hangover. If you keep hydrated you're fine just an upset stomach and a bit sluggish at most.
