Well there's this guy and im pretty sure he likes me, when he gives me advice or comforts me the thought runs through my head to say something like "Aw your such a good friend!" what could I say so I don't friendzone him when it happens again

people tend to have a wrong understanding of "friendzone" you are in the friendzone, if you ask out a girl and she turns you down but still want´s to be friends.

you could say something that compliments directly what he did like: you are so comforting or i really appreciate your advice.
