Why does she eavesdrop on my conversations?

So this woman in work, I've noticed when she's around, if I'm talking to another person about myself, she seems to eavesdrop on what I'm saying. shell hang around and pretend to do something, or she'll be walking by her head will be down and you can see her eyes looking to the side, like you do when your secretly listening?
Why would she do this?
Why does she eavesdrop on my conversations?
