Why does she mirror my level of text "excitement"?

In text messages, if I don't use any emoticons, she doesn't either. If I keep it short, she keeps it short. If I don't reply in an hour, she doesn't reply in 3. Does this mean anything?

If she doesn't make herself super available too, does that mean she's not interested, or she just doesn't want to appear eager as well?

I don't know. She seems like she's purposely distancing herself with this, but I don't know if that means she wants me to chase her harder, or she doesn't want me pursuing?

girls can be very stupid that way (i would know, i am one) my friend alexis once told me to never message a guy first because its wrong i guess or something and some guy noticed and asked what's up and realized how dumb that was, she probably is trying to seem equal to you so you don't think she is too excited about anything or not excited enough, as you get to know each other better i'm sure she will start to be more herself
