Should I be worried that my crush calls me "fam"?

OK I've had a crush on her for a while and we are pretty good friends and we have a very playful/teasing friendship with plenty of physical contact.

We've been steadily becoming closer to each other (I'm not rushing anything). I used to be real afraid this was how she treated regular guys but she's been more proactive latley and she always calls my name if she sees me and we always have a "high five"/ or hand grab thingy its (people notice it and says its cute how me and her act).

So I'm a bit put off how she has called me " FAM" when thanking me sometimes. Its like code red friendzone right? She is white and girly so its unsuall from hee and I guess I called her FAM and even "bruh" first but still it hits me hard when she uses it. She might just be tryna talk like I do but... I don't know. Girls do you call guys fam?

Sure, I call the guy I like "Best Friend Ever" all the time. That might just be me but sometimes I like giving guys I like special friendship names to make it seem like we're closer, she might be like me and just call you that name so she can call you a different name and not even realize that you're taking it that way. But yeah I think it might be alright that she calls you that, just keep your eyes open for more signs.

What signs would I look for? I mean at Homecoming I saw her going down and really dancing with her friends near a wall and she saw that I was looking stopped immediately and put her hands on her mouth and turned to her friend seeming embarrassed,

That's a good sign, just look for her reaction when she catches you looking at her if she seems embarrassed and turns to a friend, that's a good thing, that's what I do in that situation. Just see if she ever looks at you for no reason, or if she tries to find excuses to talk to you/text you. Or if she speaks excessively loud to a friend when she's near you that means she's trying to get your attention. Even pretending to be busy on her phone when you're nearby is another thing girls do to make themselves look cool around cute guys. There's so many little signs out there, if there's ever any weird or "overly friendly" behavior coming from her end, she just feels a little weird around you because of her feelings which is normal. Just know that special nicknames for you or any extra time spent with you (especially alone time) is always almost a definite "yes, she likes you".
