Why do some girls think they're badasses?

They act like they can fight people or that they're tough.

Why do they do this?

Maybe they got kicked around when they were younger. Maybe they were in a bad home, or had bad, abusive relationships.
Maybe they had a hard time, and are a little defensive, so they act like a badger, defensively, but maybe hoping someone can understand, and see through that 'mask'? Maybe they have a hard time trusting, and they act like that so they don't get hurt, again!
Maybe they just kind of like a little 'aggressive' loving, and are challenging, and trying to find a guy that understands, and likes that, and want's that kind of play! (Probably not, but wouldn't that be better than the other reasons?)

There are some tough chicks out there but they don't need to flaunt it. What makes me laugh though are the ones who are putting up and act and say they could/should/would beat up or intimidate a grown man. Like, no, the reason why you didn't go there and kick that guys ass is because you know you couldn't, so those ladies, please don't put on the act.

I went to high school with a girl like this, and I always found it kind of trashy when she would tell girls to meet her somewhere so they could fist fight. She also claimed to be in a gang, was always purposefully starting drama and trouble with other girls, and always bragged about being on house arrest, being her boyfriend's "main hoe", etc.
I don't know why some girls do it, but it might have something to do with the way they were brought up. The only time I would ever fight is out of self defense, and I know I am not tough, haha.

Homo sapiens are sexually dimorphic.

The main difference is that females use more of their energy in their reproductive system. Males have more free energy to grow large muscles, be athletic, etc.

The female reproductive system is their main hindrance to being successful at survival independently. Just think how vulnerable they are when they're pregnant.
