A girl at the gym pulls her shirt over her butt around me?

She really pretty and I see guys checking her rear end out all the time. But often, when I see her, she'll look away fast and start smiling and pulling her shirt down to cover her bum.

On face value, that behavior seems like a girl who does that thinks the guy is a creeper and is trying to hide her butt from his pervert stare. But... She always has this cute shy smile around me, stealing glances and looking away fast. Any idea why a girl would do that (pulling her shirt down over her bum), around a guy she keeps smiling around and peeking at?

It could have nothing to do with that. Sometimes they aren't covering their butt they are just pulling her shirt down to look more smooth/better. It looks better to them than their shirt scrunching up at their waist. Though yes sometimes people do it because they are worried their butt crack or something might be showing. I was taught it was proper/more attractive to straighten your cloths around others as it makes you more presentable. But that might be a cultural thing.

She has put her hand over her bum to hide her butt crack as well, looking like she's trying to block the view. If she was that shy about her body, she probably wouldn't be wearing yoga pants and the skimpy shorts she wears though.

Sometimes its what fits or you can find. As I've said I'd cover up because it was what I was taught. Also if your shy or have some other reason it would be understandable. Some people also have medical conditions (nothing contagious) and are afraid you'll see a scar, tattoo, etc.
