Is it normal for my family members to not care about nudity?

I am 20 f from india. And i have noticed that my mom, dad and a younger brother actually never cared about their clotheing when at home. Ofcourse they do if we have people visiting us and stuff. But around each other all family memebers won't care much about their clothing. I have seen my mom fully naked multiple times which could be normal for most of girls but i have also seen my bros and dads erect and non erect dicks many times which becomes awkwards sometimes. recently i had a chat about it with my girl-friends and they were really grossed out due to it. I have talked to my mom about it but then she somehow convenced me to believe that its normal to be naked sometimes aroud family members as it makes them more comfortable... She also doesn't mind being naked around my bro... I mean i dont mind my mom watching me naked but when it comes to bro and dad it is different. I get really uncomfortable there. My bro seems to not care and a little bit curious too when it comes to me. Is it normal for family memebers to be nudists?

No its not normal at least in UK some families and cultures have a different comfort levels with there sexual comfort around others. I admit walk around naked from time to time since i don't anything to bed and all members of my family have seen me naked at some point before i moved out. But not often none of them freaked out neither did i but it happens. My dad had a habit of walking about naked i seemed to picked it up in my adulthood he wasn't bothered being seen but it bothered the rest of us lol. I guess some families are just promisious by nature. Its not uncommon to see eachother naked when you live together everyday it just happens sometimes. One of my early ex's had little regard for her state of dress but she was polish so that might be the reason but she would often walk around in various states of undress when i was still at home. But i knew she liked being looked at it turned her on (she wouldn't admit directly) but only to certain extent i don't she likes a old man like my dad staring at her ass or other assets in that way when she's heading briskly into the shower from room lol. Her family however seemed to normal as they didn't walk bare to everyone but maybe it was only guests were around she had to pick it up somewhere.

In some cultures it is quite normal. I would not expect that it is normal in India, but that does not mean that in individual families it is weird or anything like that. Here in the USA it is not usual, but still, in many families it is common.

There is nothing wrong with your family being that way if that is their belief. But you do not have to be the same. Wear whatever amount of clothes that make you comfortable.

In one way you have an advantage over other girls. Long before getting into any sexual situations with a guy you have seen your male family members naked in any situations and have also seen the "mechanics" of erections. Do not feel embarrassed about seeing them. It does not bother them. And yes u just dress the way that makes you comfortable.

I do suggest you not talk about it with you friends as they do not understand and will embarrass you about it.

I am from South Asia where usually distance is kept between genders especially when nudity enters. Girls often see their moms nude while taking bath or changing clothes. In our family guys usually put on underwear during humid and hot weather while girls are careful. I have been seeing my brothers semi nude. Myself was naked when males were not at home. So it was a mixed culture. Now after marriage I usually stay nude at home, so does my husband.

I am a guy and I live in the USA and here a lot freak out about nudity in famileys and nudity with stranger in some way. There is a town in France Cape ‘d Agde where everyone goes nude. People are required to be nude at the beach, and the whole town is clothing optional. I think it is beautiful that all men and women (and children) have a place where they can be their natural selves. In Germany and some other European countries it's quite normal in some families (not all)
And we've seen a few neighbors in underwear/skimpy clothing. (Belgian, Greek, Polish, Mexican, Austrian, Danish)
I've seen my brothers and dad naked, not my mom. Our son has seen us naked.
