Why would a girl give a heavy sigh when you walk by her?

This has happened multiple times and this girl is a co worker. She's a quiet girl and when I first met her she was shy but eventually she became normal. I've been really nice to her by helping her with her work because I think she tries really hard and people tend to ignore her so I always say hi and bye to her. These sighs she's been giving when I'm around are very loud and seems like odd behavior. But in the past couple of weeks she's been getting shy around me again and seems nervous around me. It makes me feel like a creep because I've been trying to be friends with her.

Maybe she is sighing because she wants to initiate a conversation with you but is too scared. Maybe she is sighing because she wants you to approach her or because she despises herself for not starting a conversation. At least you are attempting to be friendly with her. I think that you should try a little harder. Maybe ask her to join you for lunch or have some type of set up with other coworkers.

A band on the fourth fingers may not mean she is married. Some people wear rings there for religious reasons, maybe it belonged to her mother , also sometimes women wear wedding bands to not attract other men etc.

That's true you never know until you ask but I have a feeling her ring is for marriage. I notice little details and the ring looks too nice.

Well there's another girl at work who's making it obvious to me she likes me and tbh the obvious girl is better looking so that could be it but the quiet girl is married and I'm assuming that because of the ring on her finger and the kind of ring it is.

I been in her shoes before. my parents always degraded me and told me I was worthless. i used to be just like her, but then I met my fiance last year and his acceptance and non judgmental treatment really helped me to blossom out of my dark hidden rock.
maybe you could do that for her. she probably really needs it. It's probably her time. she probably been through a lot that tore her down.
